I was born in the 'burbs of Philadelphia. I went to a few colleges, finally deciding on the career of Chef. When I was 24, I moved to Seattle. There I opened my own business, Bruschettina, selling bruschetta at the local farmers markets.
When I was 29, I met the man of my dreams, who happens to be Italian.
Now I'm livin' the good life in Umbria with him, and our 2 cats.
In December 2007, I fulfilled another dream and opened a restaurant in Italy - Trattoria Basilikó, which I sold in 2010 to begin the next phase of my life - kids!
I now run cooking classes and tours of Umbria including wine tastings, cycling, horseback riding and more, and am featured in several guides including the 2010 edition of Lonely Planet Tuscany & Umbria.
